After studying more about speculative design, I've realised that the show Black Mirror heavily revolves around similar concepts.
Within the show, episodes propose concepts lead by current events that may induce a very dark, twisted and deranged future regarding how our society winds up. Subjects include: politics, sex, the internet, social media, art, technology and more. The show touches on most subjects of our society and blows it out of proportion, yet not so much as to make the show completely ridiculous and unbelievable. The episodes invoke questions about where our advances as a race are taking us, what is right and wrong, and whether we end up creating a utopia or dystopia for ourselves through the decisions we make right now.
I'm now completely entranced by speculative design. Let's have some fun...
