Putting the Semionaut brief on the back burner, I'm focusing all of my energy into the BrandOpus brief.
Creative Block is a very interesting dilemma to try and sort out, and also lets my creativity flourish. Lots of research, playing around and testing the waters with colour, design and branding.
After going through some initial ideas, I realised I needed to step back with the 3D modelling and start going through the process of getting a brand together. So I've started thinking about the basics: a name and an identity.
Using a very helpful naming process that Ian gave to me, I came up with around 30 names, before condensing them down to 6. Ultimately, thinking about how well the names would work in the market and with the brand I had envisioned in my head, I ended up with the name: Muju.
Muju is a combination of Muse and Juice, and while the premise is simple it is fairly catchy and rolls off the tongue. It also, in my opinion, captures the essence of a fruity drinks brand, as well as a more fun, less serious vibe. This name feels like it will be easy to infuse with colour, creativity and eye-catching design.
