Competition Time!

It's competition brief time!


I was tempted to make a start on a D&AD New Blood brief, namely a brief set by Google and Google Fonts.


However, my head was turned when I was introduced to the Chrysalis Brief by BrandOpus: To create a drinks brand that has a functional benefit beyond the primary purpose of refreshment.


This one sounds like a lot of fun, and pushes me to use alternative methods of production other than digitalising absolutely everything - product design: drawing, scaling, modelling, concepts; researching the different values and ethics surrounding drinks brands that already exist; establishments such as Starbucks and Costa - what makes people want to drink there other than the coffee?
