New year, same me. Stressed and anxious.
Our first project of the new term is 'curating' our D&AD New Blood booth in Summer. We need a relatable, impactful theme, that anyone visiting can understand, with the message being clearly visible and transferable to others. And we have to be in pairs! Which isn't much of a big deal for me, giving as I was in a creative pair for almost three years.
What. To. Do?!
Our (Georgia and I) first thoughts are:
- A Bar: Each pump for a drink represents the individual traits of a designer that creative directors look for in junior designers. All mixed together, they 'taste' disgusting. It's impractical. But combined specifically together, or drunk separately, they are delicious.
- Graphic Design Buzzwords: To showcase the litter of words and terminologies being thrown about the industry, becoming a clusterfuck of stress and overwhelming confusion.
